This questionnaire for OPA Members’ Survey for 2011 is now available.
Please read everything on this page first.
- Some of the questions you will be familiar with from previous surveys but there are some new questions too which may require some research on your part.
- The OPA Council will be most grateful if you would make every effort to complete the survey as far as possible with data from your scheme(s).
- If your pensioners' association covers more than one independent pension scheme please complete a survey for each one, identified by its title in the answer to the first question.
- Please note that the first 2 questions marked with an asterisk are complulsory and until these are answered you will be unable to scroll through the whole survey to review the questions.
To answer all the questions you will need to assemble each individual pension schemes’ latest available:
- Summary Funding Statement,
- the annual accounts
- the Statement of Investment Principles
If you don’t have any of these to hand please request these documents from your scheme administrator now.
If you find on your first run through the on-line survey that you are unable to answer certain questions you may skip them, submit the survey as it stands and come back later, redo and complete the survey. If you do so please include the number “2” after the name of your pension scheme in the answer to Question 1 so that the earlier version can be identified and deleted.
When answering questions which require a number, please do not use a comma to indicate thousands, e g for Number of Actives, insert 1132 and not 1,132.
Please also note that Questions 1 and 2 ( marked with an asterisk) require you to provide an answer in order to proceed with the survey.
